Do you have a resort fee?

Resort Fee:

No. Santa Barbara does not charge a resort fee. Tax and service charge is applied to resort purchases.  During your stay, we invite you to take advantage of a wide variety of complimentary resort services and activities including:

What are your car rental recommendations? Do you have parking?

Car Services

The car rental we recommend is Boric Car Rental. They're our on-site service that are ready to assist you with rental car needs. You can reserve a rental car prior to arrival or during your stay.  We recommend reserving a rental car if you plan on exploring the island.


Self-parking is available on-site and there is no additional charge to park.

How many pools do you have?

Santa Barbara's two main pools are centrally located below the resort's lobby and near Medi Restaurant.  With two pools, adults can enjoy a relaxing swim while children play nearby in the exciting splash area.  Splash, an open-air poolside restaurant, provides poolside service.

The third pool, is exclusively for guests of, Sea Traditions, a private enclave offering enhanced services and amenities.

Beach access?

The pristine white-sand beach stretches 1,500 ft (450 meters) and invites you to lounge while enjoying views of passing sailboats and yachts. Swim in the warm, glassy blue, protected swimming lagoon and relax amid the natural, undeveloped views.

Enjoy a refreshing cocktail or delicious lunch with beachside service from Splash.

Visit our Beach Activity Center for on-site Watersport Rentals including kayaks, stand-up paddleboards and snorkeling equipment.

Do you require a deposit? What are your cancellation policies?


Deposit policies vary by season. Standard deposit policy is one (1) night room rate and tax at time of reservatoin.  At check-in, $100 per night will be held on your credit card for incidentals and will be released upon check-out.

Deposit & Cancellation Policies

  • Must cancel 7 days prior to arrival to avoid penalty of 1 night’s room and tax. Please note that cancellation policies may vary depending on rate plan and season and is subject to changes without notice.

Holiday Deposit & Cancellation Policies (Dec 23 - Jan 3)

Applies to Reservations for December 25 - January 3

  • Deposit: 50% of total room and tax is required at time of booking. Remaining 50% deposit will be taken 30 days prior to arrival. Deposit will be refunded if cancelled within the cancellation policy. 

  • Cancellation: 30-day cancellation policy.

  • Cancellation Penalty: 100% of room and tax for the entire stay will be taken if cancelled within 30 days of arrival.

Can I bring my pet?

Pet Policy

Yes! We love your furry animals! The pet must be a small dog (under 50 lbs) or a service animal. Please note, additional requirements may be required at customs for entry into the country.

The following rules apply:

  • We do require a Non-Refundable Pet Fee of $50 per day per pet and a $250 damage fee if upon inspection of the room there is damage. Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort is not responsible should your pet escape from the room for any reason. Please call us in advance to schedule Housekeeping Services. For safety reasons, we are unable to provide housekeeping services unless the pet is secured in a pet carrier or with its owner.

  • The pet cannot be in the public areas of the Hotel. The pet is allowed in the lobby only to go in and out of the hotel; the breakfast area or anywhere where food or beverages are served or provided; the fitness center; the pool and must be leashed always.

  • The pet must wear a muzzle.

  •  The guest is responsible for cleaning up after the pet.

  • The pet must not disturb the stay of other guests.

  •  A “Do Not Disturb” sign must be placed on the room door if the pet is free and under no supervision.

Before departing from the hotel, please contact the Housekeeping Department to arrange an inspection of the room.

If you are bringing a service dog, the pet fee can be waived with proper documentation.

Do you serve breakfast? 

Yes! A delicious breakfast buffet is available daily from 6:30 - 10:30 AM at our Medi Resturant  for $23! Price excludes service charge & taxes.

Do you have wireless internet? Is there a fee?

Resort-Wide Wireless Internet

Complimentary Wireless internet available in-room and throughout the resort. If you require additional bandwidth, premium high-speed internet is available for an additional fee.

Is smoking allowed at the resort?

Smoking Policy

All rooms are non-smoking rooms and smoking is not permitted inside the resort. However, smoking on-site is permitted in outdoor public areas. 

Do you offer day passes and local resident rates?

Beach Day Pass

We offer beach day passes! They are $15 per car which you will recieve back as a voucher to use at our restaurants, spa or golf course.

  • $9.00 per adult
  • $4.50 per kid

Day passes only permit guests to use the beach. Pools are for resort guests and holders of day passes sold through Resort for a Day.
